About
What was The Cherry Orchard before it was The Cherry Orchard?
This tongue-in-cheek one person performance interrogates Chekhov's timeless canon with seemingly benign colorful children's toys.
Employing collective memory, oral storytelling, and found object puppetry, it asks the question of who dared to draw these lines on the land to call it their own. Filled with painful baggage, can we still choose joy?
