Among the Dead
Among the Dead by Hansol Jung is a play on war, violence, and family. Stuck between Korea and US, this play looks at convoluted characters jumping time and space to reach to each other. Ultimately, it is a story of love between a daughter and a mother.
Through this play, I have also finished my thesis, Actors in Trauma Narrative: An Investigation Into Among the Dead's Rehearsal Structure where I explore definition of trauma, resemblance of trauma and theatre, current rehearsal structures, and 'Comfort Women' representation on stage.
